WHAT IS WORDLE GAME
Wordle is a web-based word game designed and developed by Josh Wardle, a Welsh software engineer, and owned and published by The New York Times Company since 2022. Players get six chances to guess a five-letter word, with coloured tiles showing whether letters match or occupy the right location providing feedback for each try.The principles are essentially identical to the Jotto pen-and-paper game from 1955 and the Lingo television game show series.Wordle features a single daily solution in which all participants try to guess the same word.
Wardle built the game first for himself and his girlfriend to play before making it public in October 2021. Wardle introduced the ability for users to reproduce their daily results as emoji squares, which were extensively shared on Twitter, in December 2021, and the game skyrocketed in popularity.There were several clones and modifications of the game, as well as versions in languages other than English.The New York Times Company acquired the game in January 2022 for an unknown seven-figure fee, with hopes to keep it free for all players; it was relocated to the company’s website in February 2022.

HOW TO PLAY WORDLE GAME
